Samsung has launched two new Galaxy smartphones in India – The new Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime priced at ₹ 18,790.00 (~$280 – 215 – €250) and ₹ 14,790.00 (~$220 – £170 – €200) respectively.

The Galaxy J7 Prime comes in Gold and Black colours with a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD screen, 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage, 3,300mAh non-removable battery, 13MP f/1.9 rear camera, 8MP f/1.9 front-facing shooter, Android OS, dual SIM connection with 4G LTE connectivity and a fingerprint scanner.


The Galaxy J5 Prime also comes in Gold and Black colours with a 5.0-inch 720p HD screen, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory with microSD slot option, 2,400mAh non-removable battery, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing shooter with f/1.9 aperture, Android OS and dual SIM connection with 4G LTE connectivity.

The Galaxy J7 Prime is available for purchase from, the Galaxy J5 Prime will also become available for sale at the end of the month from Samsung.
