South Korean Samsung has unveiled its new 2-in-1 convertible notebook. The new Samsung Notebook 9 Spin works in a similar fashion to Lenovo’s Yoga devices. The Notebook 9 Spin has a 360 degree rotatable touch screen, easily changes between four modes; notebook, stand, tent and tablet.
The Notebook 9 Spin has an ultra-thin lightweight metal body, measuring only 14.9mm and weighing 1.3Kg, making it a super portable Windows 10 device. Samsung has equipped the Notebook 9 Spin with a mind blown 13.3” QHD+ (3200 x 1800px) vivid touch screen.
The 2-in1 device takes advantage of the real-time HDR function by analysing the content in real time, adjusting the brightness and contrast automatically, and optimizing the picture quality. And if outdoors, the outdoors mode kicks in, increasing the brightness up to 700nit so even under the sunlight, the screen still omits a vivid picture quality.
On the performance side, the Samsung Notebook 9 Spin is configured with up to 6th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, Intel HD Graphics 520, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB SSD (Solid State Drive), mAh5120 battery, 720p HD camera, two 2w Stereo speakers with SoundAlive, built-in dual digital microphones, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2×2), Bluetooth v4.1, 1 headphone out/microphone-in combo, 1x HDMI, 3 x USB3.0 and MicroSD Multi-media Card Reader.
The Samsung Notebook 9 Spin is priced at $1,299.99 and can be purchased directly from Samsung US at http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/pcs/NP940X3L-K01US
