Samsung’s newly announced Galaxy Note 7 packs the hardware specs including the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5. So, you would automatically think that the screen of your new Galaxy Note 7 is scratch resistant, but think again!

In a new video by the YouTuber; JerryRigEverything, the Galaxy Note 7’s Gorilla Glass 5 screen interestingly seems to scratch very easily, particularly when compared with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Devices with latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5 can survive higher drops; up to 1.6-meter high. The Gorilla Glass 5 can also provide damage resistance, optical clarity and touch sensitivity. However it does not seem to offer the basic protection; scratch resistance like its predecessor; the Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

So, before spending your hard earned cash on a new Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, watch this video and let’s know what you think of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7. Is it a great device or an epic failure?
