Whether you’re watching a live game, concert, touring a new city or carrying out a job, SmartEyeglass helps you stay focussed and involved, whilst supporting and empowering you with extra data, help and information.

The SmartEyeglass has a 3 MP camera for still images, wired controller, Speaker and microphone, Binocular – monochrome 8-bit display, Built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery with more than 150 minutes of continuous use, and it also includes accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, brightness sensor, microphone and noise suppression sub microphone. The Sony SmartEyeglass has Wireless LAN and Bluetooth connectivity, and supports devices running Android 4.4 and above, and weighs 77 grams (2.7 oz) without the controller.

The Sony SmartEyeglass is available for pre-orders in the UK & Germany for £620 – €800 approx ($950 – ¥113450 JPY), US & Japan to follow. Sony has also released a software development kit (SDK) to encourage companies to make apps for the glasses. [reaction_buttons]
