Vodafone has upped its game this year by announcing the new Smart Platinum 7 smartphone for the UK. The Smart Platinum 7 is a new addition to company’s Smart phone line-up. It is configured with some respectable specs and priced at just £300 on Pay As You Go, or £28pm on Pay Monthly, and also comes with a free VR headset.

The Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 features a 6.9mm thin body equipped with a 5.5-inch QHD 2K AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and rocks 32GB of expandable storage, and also a large 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology, which allows you to restore 50% of the Platinum’s juice in only 30 minutes.
The phone boasts an 8-Megapixel front-facing camera and a 16-Megapixel rear camera with fingerprint sensor beneath it, which lets you securely unlock your phone in an instant, as well as gift access to secure payments via Android Pay. The Smart Platinum 7 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
