Today Xiaomi has launched two new smartphones – The Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus, both phones feature sleek bodies that offered in a choice of colors including, silver, gray, gold and rose gold.
Xiaomi Mi 5s
Starting with the smaller handset; the Xiaomi Mi 5s packs a 5.15-inch 1920x1080px Full HD IPS screen with maximum 600-nit brightness, 95% NTSC color gamut uses 16 LED lights, and also pressure sensitive technology for the high-end model. Powering the Mi 5s is a Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.15GHz and is paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

The Mi 5s boasts 64GB or 128GB of internal storage and a 3,200mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0. It is equipped with an Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 12MP f/2.0 rear camera with Sony IMX378 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor and PDAF, and also a 4MP front-facing shooter.

Moving swiftly to the Mi 5s Plus, which is set to compete with the iPhone 7 Plus with its dual rear camera and high-end specs. The Xiaomi 5s Plus is armed with Sony 13MP + 13 MP dual rear camera and a 4MP front-facing camera.

The Mi 5s Plus has a large 5.7-inch 1080p Full HD screen with 2.5D curved glass and 94% NTSC and is powered by 2.15GHz Snapdragon 821 processor paired with a choice of RAM and storage; 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM or 6GB RAM+ 128 GB ROM.
The Xiaomi 5s Plus hosts a 3,800mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C connector, and also has Dual Band Wi-Fi, UFS 2.0 and NFC. The phone features a metal brushed body and is offered in 4GB+64GB variant priced at ￥2299 (~$344), and 6GB+128GB variant priced at ￥2599 (~$389).
