Indian base Lava International, the maker of the XOLO brand has launched the new XOLO Black 1X smartphone to local consumers in India. The XOLO Black 1X will be available for sale through the Indian retailer Snapdeal starting November.
The budget friendly XOLO Black 1X comes with promising specifications – 1.3GHz Octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in memory, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The On-Cell IPS Full HD 5-inch touch screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, 441PPI pixels per inch and 80% NTSC colour gamut.
Equipped with respectable cameras; 5-Megapixel front-facing and 13-Megapixel rear facing cameras, both with flash. The main camera has fast Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and is capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos. It is also packed with various shooting modes such as; the Red eye removal, HDR and Panorama.
The Black 1X is powered by a 2400mAh Li-Polymer battery delivering up to 12 hours of 3G talk time and up to 354 hours of standby time. There is 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS and Dual Nano SIMs slot. The device runs HIVE user interface Built on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
With its slim profile, the Black 1X measures 144.6 x 72 x 7.6mm and weighs 125 grams. It combines leather, metal & glass finish, giving it a touch of premium look despite its Rs. 9999 (~$153 – £100 – €140 – $215 AUD) retail price. The XOLO Black 1X will go on sale in India via Snapdeal on 6th November, preview sale starts at 10 AM.
