Sony is about to push another major system software update for its PS4 gaming console, and it is looking for beta-testing helpers before releasing the software update. So, starting today, you can sign up for a chance to be a beta tester and get an advance look at some of the improvements and new features coming to PlayStation 4.

You can register to be a beta tester anytime between today and the start of the beta in early February using the link below. You must be 18 years or older to be accepted. The registration process will close once the beta programme starts.

As a beta tester for the PS4 last system software update, 4.00, you will have the chance to see new things like; the overall PS4 UI refresh, Folders, the revised Quick Menu, and much more before launch.

If you’re part of the program, you’ll receive an email with instructions on downloading the beta version of the next system software. In order to sign up, you’ll need a PS4 with an internet connection, and access to a Master Account. And remember — you can roll back to the previous system software at any time.
