Today Chinese ZTE has launched a new smartphone under the Nubia brand – The Nubia Z11 Mini is now official in China with a ￥1499 (~$230 – £160 – €205 – $297 AUD) retailing price. The new phone comes with respectable specs, making it a good device for anyone looking for a mid-range phone.
In terms of specs, the Nubia Z11 Mini packs a 5.0-inch 1080p Full HD screen with LTPS 2.5D arc glass, 441PPI, 95% colour saturation protected by 3rd Gen Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 processor alongside Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage, which can be supplemented by a 200GB microSD card.
The Z11 Mini hosts a fast charging 2800mAh non-removable battery which can be charged using the built-in USB Type-C port. The handset is also equipped with a 16MP main camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, Sapphire glass lens, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and NeoVision 5.8 software. At the front, there is an 8MP shooter with 1.4µm pixels, f/2.4 aperture and 80-degree wide angle lens.
Other features include; a rear fingerprint scanner, dual band (5GHz & 2.4GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/AC, BT v4.1 and GPS with GLONASS. The Nubia Z11 Mini runs Nubia UI 3.9.6 based on Android 5.1. It measures 141.4 x 70 x 8mm, weighs 138g and comes in three colour options; white, black and gold.
